Apex owner, and head inspector, Jim Opteyndt has over 40 years combined experience in home maintenance and inspections. Jim owned a building maintenance company for eight years, and worked as a real estate inspector for four years. He also single-handedly owned and maintained a 35-unit apartment complex for 16 years.
The skills and expertise he has gained throughout his career has given him the ability to quickly spot signs of leaks, water-damage, break-ins, electrical-issues and other household problems. The list of problems that can occur in a vacant home is extensive, and half of them may be overlooked by an untrained eye.
Jim also spent 13 years as a general contractor, so he knows his way around a tool-box. He is happy to quickly make any minor repairs that are needed to make sure your home is back up and running as soon as possible. For larger jobs, Jim will coordinate repairs with outside companies so you won’t have to worry about a thing.
