A Look into Southwest Florida’s Prosperous Future

A Look into Southwest Florida’s Prosperous Future
The future is looking bright in Southwest Florida, and it’s not because of the year-round sunshine. It’s because of local organizations and entrepreneurs that are working day in and day out to grow our region, literally and figuratively.
With Florida’s population projected to grow from 1.3 to 1.5 million residents by 2025, local construction companies are working diligently to prep for our region’s prosperous future. Here are some of them.
Huffman Construction Group prides itself on being not your ordinary construction company. Their three owners have over 60 years of combined construction experience and most of our team, like the owners, are also Naples area natives, so they know the unique construction climate in Southwest Florida. Huffman Construction loves Southwest Florida and wants to help you call it home too!
Heatherwood Construction Company has the desire to achieve results through a competitive spirit that enables rapid decision-making with a sense of responsibility and a commitment to share information and to treat everyone with dignity and fairness. They think creatively and provide strategies that are free from the force of habit. We manage resources with integrity and passion to achieve results.
Harwick Homes brings extensive experience and history to the table in each project they undertake. As an advocate for homeowners, they assist in making the best choices for both their clients’ estates and bottom lines. It’s what they’ve specialized in for more than 35 years.
President Steven Watt and the Gulfshore Homes team have provided award-winning and innovative custom designs for hundreds of homes in Florida. Collaborative relationships with trade partners, architects, interior designers, landscape architects and engineering firms have provided a meticulous team approach to planning, design and materials to produce a home that reflects the owner’s style and personality.
Did you know Florida had the highest number of registered recreational boating vessels in 2020, with almost 959,000 in 2020? We’re sure that number has increased in the last two years, and Nelson Marine Construction has been completing marine projects like docks, boat lifts and seawalls for over 4 years. Not to mention, the company’s commitment to the environment is unsurpassed – as lifelong Southwest Florida residents, they are dedicated to keeping our local waters as pristine as possible with environmentally sensitive marine construction programs.
And let us not forget about the additional companies like Southern Showcase Interiors, Kingon Homes, Envirostruct, LLC, Dagostino Geospatial Inc., Q. Grady Minor and Associates, P.A., Pelican Landing Community Associations, Inc. and ARBC, Corp., Arthur Rutenberg Homes are a part of the group that’s growing Southwest Florida through their hard work.
While these companies are hard at work building future homes and infrastructure for our current and future residents, other local companies are hard at work making improvements to the places that already exist. For the last eight consecutive years, readers of the Naples Daily News and The News-Press voted MY Shower Door as “the best place to purchase shower doors.”
Shower Door City LLC is a family-owned business owned by Bev and Lance Carney. The company is a division of Creative Glass Products which is also owned by Bev and Lance. They first opened their doors in the local area in August 1998 and have happily been part of the local community ever since. They take great care in our work and so we do the job right.
The replacement windows manufactured by NewSouth Window Solutions are made to better enhance the energy efficiency of your home. This is accomplished by combining cutting-edge technologies and a dedication to quality installation to ensure that your new windows will maintain a stable temperature at your home., which may even lead to a reduction in your monthly energy bill. Let us not forget about two additional and stellar local window companies: Glass Doctor of SWFL and Beverly Hills Window Tinting & Treatments.
While the above local organizations are making physical improvements to Southwest Florida, others are nourishing the minds of our residents and future local leaders…
