In the Spirit of Christmas, Give Back Locally
The holiday season serves as the perfect reminder to appreciate the community we live in and the organizations that help make it great. In the spirit of Christmas, these local nonprofits and educational organizations are on the nice list…
The David Lawrence Center’s mission is to provide life-saving and life-changing behavioral health care through education, prevention, intervention and treatment available to all. DLC delivers care to the community through six distinct Centers of Excellence. These complementary areas of focus allow DLC to tailor our education, prevention, intervention, and treatment protocols, delivering care and support to each individual and in a manner that is focused on the whole person.
Oak Creek Charter School of Bonita Springs prepares students of Lee County in grades K-8 for success in high school and beyond. To fulfill its mission, OCCS utilizes a rigorous curriculum combined with an ongoing assessment program. To the academic program, the school adds daily instruction in fitness and health and an integrated character education program.
Royal Palm Academy partners with families to provide an education of rich academics with Catholic formation. They teach the mind, educate the heart and form the character of tomorrow's leaders.
The mission of Florida SouthWestern State College is to inspire learning; prepare a diverse population for creative and responsible participation in a global society and serve as a leader for intellectual, economic and cultural awareness in the community.
At Creative World, their early learning schools celebrate the curiosity of young children. As a leader in early education, Creative World embraces the highest standards for early childhood curriculum. Their schools align with national standards to ensure that every child has an excellent educational experience and the classrooms are full of fun, laughter and the joy of learning!
For the past century, Rasmussen University has prepared students to succeed. Although the world has changed dramatically, the university’s goal has remained the same: to give students a better education. With experience, innovation and dedication, as an institution they have not just evolved to meet demands but have led the way in supporting students’ success.
Lastly, Pelican Colony Learning Center’s mission is to serve the children, families and the community in a manner that respects the cultural diversity of each family and developmental needs of every child. Early childhood education is the foundation of our future, and are committed to providing each child with educationally challenging and rewarding early childhood experience.
If you’re unable to give back financially this holiday season, there are other ways to show you’re grateful for the nonprofit and educational members of our community! Perhaps like and share their pages or posts on social media, leave a positive review or tell a friend about the organization’s mission.
