Medela Clinic is a direct primary care (DPC) model clinic that gives patients an alternative to fee-for-service insurance billing, typically by charging patients a monthly, quarterly, or annual fee. This fee covers all or most primary care services including clinical and in-house laboratory services, consultative services, care coordination, and comprehensive care management.
DPC membership benefits patients by providing substantial savings and a greater degree of access to, and time with, physicians.
Our mission is to care for the whole person while reducing the overhead and negative incentives associated with fee-for-service third-party-payer billing. Benefits of DPC to patients include:
-Be seen quickly when you’re sick, not at the “next available appointment”
-Have a minimum of 30 minutes scheduled with your provider at every visit
-Use modern communication tools to avoid coming to the doctor’s office

-Access to low-cost Lab Tests and Radiological Procedures – labs that your insurance pays $75 for, probably cost us (and now you) as little as $4.
