Recent SWFL Inc. promotions are a testament to the organization’s growth

By: Tiffany Esposito, MBA, CCE, IOM, APR, President & CEO, SWFL Inc.

In the recent months, I’ve had the pleasure of promoting two well-deserving employees and welcomed a new team member. I’m excited to say I’ve offered an additional promotion to Charles Stanisce, SWFL Inc.’s Technology and Content Manager. He will now serve as the organization’s Director of Marketing and Technology and is incredibly deserving of his new role.

Charles has been with SWFL Inc. since 2016 and is a graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University. He is the architect of the SWFL Inc. membership model. Charles retired from the hockey biz to be our tech whiz and is the proud dog dad to the French Bulldog Reese’s, often seen in our building on ‘Frenchie Fridays’.

What truly makes Charles deserving of his new role is his dedication to growing SWFL Inc. He is always on the look-out for ways we can improve and took us into the 21st century when we transitioned from the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce to SWFL Inc. in 2020. Charles is an expert in brand management, revamped the SWFL Inc. website this past year and is our marketing and digital content strategy connoisseur.

The way we’ve been able to expand our team and offer new opportunities is a testament to SWFL Inc.’s newly implemented business model – and Charles’ hard work. Since transitioning to SWFL Inc. in 2020, we’ve grown from 600 members to nearly 3,000. Our members enjoy that our basic membership is free and open to all businesses to create (inc)lusive opportunities. Our premium memberships were designed for business’s specific needs whether that be developing your skills as a business owner, attracting more customers or growing your network.

Our members also love our events. SWFL Inc.’s monthly Power Hours are a fantastic way to network in a fast-paced, low-pressure environment. Our Business After Hours events allow members to explore new venues throughout Southwest Florida and make new connections. BOSS, or Business Owners Sharing Solutions, provides members with the opportunity to hear from local industry experts in a moderated Q&A session. With the help of Charles, we also implemented Digital Marketing Courses for entrepreneurs to utilize as a comprehensive start up resource. Charles will be leading our Canva, Email Marketing, Blogs, Websites and SEO classes later in the year.

At our heart, SWFL Inc. is a regional chamber of commerce serving the Southwest Florida business community. It connects businesses to a regional network of customers, offers educational resources to help them grow in a modern economy, and actively works to solve regional issues that impact the business community.
