Another year is ending and all we can say is: “Time flies when you’re having fun!” If you didn’t get to join in on the fun at SWFL Inc. in 2022, we hope you’ll attend our events and get to know our nearly 4,000 members in 2023. Here’s what you can look forward to in the new year…

Business After Hours and Power Hour are two classic events here at SWFL Inc. that are staying in 2023. Business After Hours provides local professionals with a casual atmosphere to network and make new connections over refreshments and light appetizers. Power Hour happens during business hours and is a quick, convenient, low-stress networking event with a speed-networking format designed to help you meet every person in the room. We’ve added more Business After Hours and Power Hours to our calendar than ever before so our members can make even more connections and grow their networks in 2023! The first Business After Hours of the year will be hosted on Wednesday, January 11 at the Naples Botanical Gardens and the first Power Hour will be hosted on Wednesday, January 18 at The Warehouse Cuisine and Cocktails.

In 2022, SWFL Inc. launched the Veterans Business Council, which is dedicated to helping build a vibrant and prosperous business community for all Veterans and Veteran Owned-Businesses in Southwest Florida. We’re proud to aid the veterans in our community with the growth of their businesses and are excited to continue to host networking events for veteran professionals in 2023. The Veterans Business Council will host its first meeting of the year on Thursday, January 5 at The Hub at SWFL Inc.

Also back in the new year is our Community Expo scheduled for Thursday, February 23 at The Promenade at Bonita Bay. The free-to-attend event will showcase local businesses and nonprofits and feature live music, giveaways, food samples and more. Attendees will also be able to make face-to-face connections with local businesses as well as find local services for their home, area attractions, healthcare and more.

New to our events calendar is SWFL Inc.’s Clay Shooting event to be hosted on Friday, February 10 at Gulf Coast Clays. Included in the cost to play is 100 targets, ammo, lunch, networking, and more. Surrounded by the Everglades National Park and the Fakahatchee Strand State Preserve, this shooting range is in a beautiful location offering unrivaled scenery and a warm welcome.
