Leadership SWFL changes professionals’ lives locally

By: Tiffany Esposito, MBA, CCE, IOM, APR, President & CEO, SWFL Inc.

Since the launch of Leadership SWFL in 1999, SWFL Inc. has had the pleasure of transforming nearly 500 local leaders' lives by connecting area professionals and providing them with a better understanding of how the region works. Even better, the program educates them on how they can get more engaged and make a bigger difference in the area.

But don’t just take my word for it. Here’s what Leadership SWFL Class of 2022 participant Susan (Suzi) Polodna, Creator and Owner of The Texture Game had to say about the program.

“The timing was perfect for me when I heard about SWFL Inc.’s leadership program since I was at a crossroads with the business I had built since 2008.

“After the first session of Leadership SWFL, I was hooked. Anyone who commits to this program can only become a better person by developing relationships and learning about this region’s resources and challenges within the community. It has afforded me a new perspective on my growing my business in a fun, joyful way! It has paid off immeasurably!”

If you or a professional you know is looking to deepen their understanding of the components that make up this region and emerge a stronger leader, just like Suzi did, consider applying to Leadership SWFL. Early decision applications are open for the Class of 2023 and are due by Thursday, December 15, 2022, and are available online at www.swflinc.com/leadership-swfl-2023. Those who apply before this date will be notified early in 2023 on their status.

The program includes nine day-long sessions and an overnight retreat between May and December. Each session provides attendees with an in-depth look at a different aspect of Southwest Florida, from infrastructure to tourism, and more. Graduates will build essential relationships and foster a better understanding of the inner workings of Lee, Collier and Charlotte Counties.
