Florida Dermatology and Skin Cancer Centers Relocates Bonita Springs Office
Bonita Springs, FL (April 2022) – Florida Dermatology and Skin Cancer Centers (FLDSCC), a family-focused practice with offices throughout Florida, is excited to announce its relocation to a new, larger, state-of-the-art medical office in Bonita Springs on April 6, 2022. The previous Bonita Springs location at 26800 S. Tamiami Trail, Ste. 360, Bonita Springs, FL 34134 will now be conveniently located just five minutes north in the Bernwood Courtyard at Pelican Landing, 24880 Burnt Pine Dr., Bld. 8, Ste. 1, Bonita Springs, FL 34134. The new facility will allow for additional parking as well as added patient comfort and accessibility.
As statistics for developing skin cancer continue to climb upward with more than 9,500 people in the U.S. given a new skin cancer diagnosis every day*, Florida Dermatology and Skin Cancer Centers sees its office relocation in Bonita Springs as an added opportunity to further its mission and provide expanded dermatology services to surrounding communities.
“We see our move as an opportunity to continue to serve our patients in the most comprehensive way,” says Medical Director of FLDSCC, Dr. K. Wade Foster. “Our new location will feature a range of services including general and cosmetic dermatology, as well as skin cancer treatment, Mohs micrographic surgery, and dermatological care for a number of skin conditions and diseases such as eczema, rosacea, rashes, warts, and more.”
K Wade Foster received his M.D. and Ph.D. from the University of Alabama Birmingham. He completed both his internship and residency at UAB and his procedural dermatology fellowship at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and the West Los Angeles V.A. Medical Center under Dr. Ron Moy.He has been medical director of FLDSCC since July 2008. Dr. Foster is fellowship-trained in Mohs surgery, the most effective technique for most types of skin cancers, with minimal scarring or risk. Dr. Foster and his team use proven, innovative methods to remove cancers, preserve healthy skin, and restore natural appearance.
