PUNTA GORDA, Fla. September 15, 2026 — SWFL Inc. is inviting emerging and established community leaders to apply for the inaugural Leadership Babcock cohort, a new six-session leadership experience designed to deepen participants’ understanding of leadership, community development, and the vision shaping one of the nation’s most innovative towns.
Leadership Babcock offers participants an opportunity to go beyond traditional leadership development and experience the story of Babcock Ranch firsthand. Throughout the program, participants will engage with community leaders, gain behind-the-scenes access to the community, explore the ideas and strategies driving its continued growth, and connect with fellow professionals who share a passion for Southwest Florida’s future.
The inaugural cohort will provide a unique setting for participants to expand their leadership perspective while examining the intersection of innovation, economic development, community building, and regional growth.
