SWFL Inc.'s Small Business Resources After Hurricane Ian

Dear SWFL Inc. Members and Friends,

Our hearts are heavy as we feel the immeasurable impact Hurricane Ian has had on our community. The future may seem uncertain and daunting, but there's one thing that we do know. Our community is strong. Our community is resilient. We will rebuild, we will recover and we will come back better than ever.

As an organization, we are working diligently to provide relief to our members and the local business community. Here's what we're doing thus far:

  • The Hub at SWFL Inc. is open and operating with power, WiFi and water so you can keep your business moving.
  • We've canceled our ongoing events through October so you can focus on your homes, families and businesses. Anyone who previously registered for these events will be refunded.
  • SWFL Inc. is happy to serve as a resource for the community, so we encourage you to browse our online directory to locate assistance locally.
  • Beginning Wednesday, October 5, The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will be setting up a Disaster Recovery Center in The Hub. A core tenet of SBA’s mission is to render federal disaster assistance as quickly as possible to small business owners and provide critical disaster relief to the communities they serve during these types of devastating disasters.
  • We've added a category under the SWFL Inc. blog titled "Hurricane Ian Resources". This will be continually updated with information so you can get back to business.
  • SWFL Inc. Members & Community is a Facebook Group that's been created to share resources that are available locally after Hurricane Ian including but not limited to charitable needs, volunteer requests, upcoming events in Southwest Florida, job openings, etc.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have. We look forward to being a part of the successful rebuilding process of our community.

Sincerely,

Tiffany Esposito

SWFL Inc. President & CEO
